REVIEW PROCESS -

Read the Design Guidelines 

The Seven Oaks Homeowners Manual, as well as other legally binding documents, are provided to homeowners prior to closing on a house.  Please read the guidelines and application requirements carefully before submitting your application.

Submit an Application

Submit your application, along with any supporting diagrams or documentation for your proposed project to the Covenants Administrator.  Incomplete information only delays your project, so the more information the better, for a more likely approval.

Committee Review

The Covenants Committee meets every third Tuesday of each month at 7pm at the Charter Oaks Community Center.  If you submitted an application, you are more than welcome to attend this meeting to hear the results immediately.  Otherwise, you would receive both a phone call the day after the meeting as well as a letter from the association declaring the outcome of your proposed project.  PLEASE NOTE - the Committee reviews the project to ensure it meets the Homeowners Manual guidelines.  Any required county permitting that might be required for certain projects are the homeowner's responsibility to obtain.

Approval or Rejection

Many items are easily approved as certain modifications on homes may be rather common within community parcels. However, if for some reason, your proposal is rejected, you should first ask the Covenants Administrator for further explanation.  Homeowners have the right to appeal a decision to the Seven Oaks Board of Directors.

TRASH REMOVAL

Trash pick-up in the community is on Tuesdays ONLY.  Both general trash and recyclables are collected on the same day.

LAWN DEBRIS will not be collected unless the following guidelines are adhered to:

1.  Have debris in a regular trash can marked with an "X" or

2.  Have debris in brown lawn bags purchased at your local hardware store.

BULK PICK-UP FOR LARGE ITEMS IS FREE, BUT YOU HAVE TO CALL IT IN!  AA CO. BULK PICK-UP CAN BE REACHED AT
